Q: Do Wood Worn products come with a warranty?
A: Rest assured, Wood Worn products are the highest quality available and all come with a full 1 year warranty against manufacturing defects.

Q: How much does shipping cost?
A: Shipping is free for domestic USA orders over $75. Domestic orders under $75 will have a flat $8 shipping rate. Faster shipping methods are available at an additional cost. Shipping on International orders may vary depending on where you are located. International customers feel free to email us for a shipping quote. Please Note: All International customers are responsible for their order's Import Tax and is not covered by Wood Worn.
Q: How long will it take to receive my order?
A: For in-stock items, we typically ship within 24 hours of receiving an order. However, due to the high demand of Wood Worn products it can take up to 3 days to process an order. This is especially true at peak seasons such as the holidays and summer vacation. For out-of-stock and pre-order items the estimated ship dates will be displayed on those product pages, but typically they will ship in 4-6 weeks. Please know all Wood Worn products are handmade and we are doing our best to make sure orders are filled promptly.
Q: How will I know when my order ships?
A: You will receive a email notification when your order ships. Tracking information may or may not be provided depending on what shipping method was selected.
Q: Do you ship globally?
A: We do ship globally, but there are some countries we are currently unable to ship to. They include, but are not limited to: Brazil, Russia, Greece, Israel, Malaysia, Netherlands Antilles, Romania, and Ukraine.
Q: What kind of lenses come with your sunglasses?
A: All current Wood Worn sunglasses come with Polarized TAC lenses that are rated UV400. They offer superior visual and polarization clarity. They are hard coated to resist scratching and block out 100% of all harmful UV rays (UVA & UVB) up to 400 nanometers, and are also lightweight and highly impact resistant.
Q: What is a Polarized lens?
A: A Polarized lens is infused with a polarized filter that cuts down on glare. The glare can come from water, a car hood, a car windshield, snow, or well you get the idea. Polarized lenses will cut down on glare (reflective and atmospheric) to provide clearer visual acuity and less eyestrain.
Q: Why did you decide to use wood to make sunglasses?
A: There are many reasons but here are the top benefits:
Wood construction is strong. The entire frame and temples are made up of multiple layers of very thin hardwood. The layers are laid up in a cross-grain pattern much like how a skateboard is constructed. Think of it as little rebar, you lay one set of rebar one direction and then the other set the other direction. This allows for the greatest strength and flexibility in all directions. The result is an extremely strong and lightweight frame that is stronger than a single piece of solid wood by itself, which is why we don’t just simply carve each pair out of a single larger piece of wood. Wood Worn sunglasses are made up from 5-7 separate hardwood layers.
Now, we mentioned that wood is porous and so these have been sealed to make them waterproof and in fact many actually float. That being said, one should try to keep them dry when possible or dry off when they get wet and be sure to rinse with fresh water if they come into contact with saltwater. Also, wood densities and buoyancy will differ pair to pair so we cannot guarantee each pair will float. Please Note: prolonged submersion of glasses may cause them to warp.
Q: Where do you get your wood from?
A: All Wood Worn wood is sourced from sustainable, responsible, and authorized plantations from all over the world. The current woods we use are black walnut, zebrawood, and red rosewood.
Q: How do I care for my Wood Worn Sunglasses?
A: Wood Worn Sunglasses quite honestly require very little care as long as they are treated properly from the get-go. We use a blend of waxes and oils to seal and waterproof the wooden frames. That being said, do not leave them in extreme heat or cold for prolonged periods of time, do not store them in your pocket, backpack, or hanging from your shirt when not in use. When not in use, keep them in a safe place and preferably a hard case. We recommend the microfiber bag and hard magnetic box they come in. If your frames start to feel dry you may use a thin coating of lip balm, beeswax, or butcher block conditioner.
Q: Do you accept return/exchanges?
A: Absolutely! As long as your return/exchange meets our criteria the process is quite simple. All return/exchanges must be in brand-new, unworn condition, have a proof of purchase (such as your order number or invoice), and still be in all the original packaging with all the original literature and merchandise. Return/exchanges must be postmarked within 30 days of original order placed. Email email@example.com for an RMA (return merchandise authorization) and we'll contact you back with mailing instructions. Please Note: All RETURNS are subject to $25 restocking fee. Restocking fee is waived on exchanged items.
Q: Can I place a custom order?
A: Unfortunately, we do not offer custom orders at this time. From time to time we will come out with new designs, woods, and finishes, so be sure to "Like" our Facebook page and sign up for our newsletter to be notified of new products.
Q: Do you offer prescription lenses?
A: We will soon offer prescription frames that you can take to any optometrist and have them put prescription lenses in for you. We are also working on offering reading glasses. We hope to have these available by the end of 2016.

A: We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, and PayPal.
Q: Is your payment gateway and website secure?
A: Yes, If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption.
Q: Is my information private?
A: Yes, your information is private. To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.
